Reading

There are never enough hours in the day to get everything done, and never enough to put aside to read something for my own enjoyment. It's been far too long since I've managed to sit down and really enjoy a book without trying to rush through it when I do get the time to read.

I've been slowing myself down by annotating the physical books I have. It would take me more than a month to finish this book at the speed I'm able to do this, but so far it's been fun, and maybe by the end I'll gift this to a friend so they can enjoy it and add their own reactions as well.

I'm mostly retired now, but I'm an early modern military historian.
